Family History Centers

If you can't make the trip to McDonough County and prefer to do your own research, one of the best resources is your local L.D.S. Family History Center. The centers are open to the public - you do not need to be a member of the church to use the facilities. You can order microfilm and microfiche from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City at all Family History Centers. The films are inexpensive to order, and the rental period is typically 3-4 weeks.
